Backstage Dance
Programs
At Back Stage Dance Center, we offer a range of dynamic youth dance classes designed to inspire and nurture dancers of all ages and skill levels. Our programs focus on developing strong technical skills, fostering creativity, and encouraging self-expression. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to refine their abilities, we provide a welcoming environment where each dancer can grow. From our playful Little Imaginations classes for younger children to our more advanced Emerging Artists program for teens, our classes help students explore a variety of dance styles, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acrobatic Tumbling, and more. Little Imaginations
Ages 2-4
Our Little Imaginations program blends dance technique with creative play, nurturing each child’s imagination while promoting teamwork. This fun and dynamic dance class introduces children to the basics of Tap, Ballet, or Acrobatic Tumbling, all through playful activities like circle time, props, and movement exercises. It’s the perfect way to make learning ballet and tap, or acrobatic tumbling, exciting and enjoyable!
Creative Exploration
Ages 5-8
Exploring movement with children is truly magical, and this program is all about celebrating the individuality of each dancer! We encourage students to express their creativity and choose their own dance journey. With the freedom to explore different styles, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Theater Arts, Hip Hop, Acrobatic Tumbling, and more. This approach fosters self-expression while providing a well-rounded dance experience.
Young Artists
Ages 9-12
The goal of our Young Artists program is to strengthen each student’s technical foundation while nurturing their individuality and creativity. We focus on building performance skills, boosting confidence, and encouraging improvisation, all while fostering teamwork and collaboration. Students can explore a variety of dance styles, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Hip Hop, Theater Arts, and more.
Emerging Artists
Ages 13+
Students in our Emerging Artists program continue to refine their technique, building on the strong foundation developed at BSDC. We emphasize confidence, improvisation, and independent learning to help our dancers reach their creative goals. Emerging Artists have the opportunity to explore a variety of styles, including Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acrobatic Tumbling, Hip Hop, Theater Arts, and more.
